If you are seeking a rewarding and fulfilling job, we are currently hiring for the position of Accounts Payable Associate.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Data entry and paying all approved bills and the processing of checks for such payments.
  2. End-of-the-month, end-of-the-calendar year, and end-of-the-fiscal year procedures for the Accounts Payable function.
  3. Interact with members of the organization regarding purchases, approvals and program tracking of expenditures.
  4. Serve as the primary contact with all vendors and suppliers regarding authorized payments.
  5. Prepare the daily cash flow analysis for use by the Accounting Manager and/or Chief Financial Officer as well as an aging of accounts payable.
  6. Alert the Accounting Manager or Chief Financial Officer to any problems that impact the mission of the organization, reflect on its professional status or suggest any impropriety or illegality in any form whatsoever.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma.
  • At least two years accounts payable or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and programs.
