Founded in 1972, DSC provides educational, professional, residential and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a Residential Program Administrator at DSC, you will support people we serve in a residential setting. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day operation of group homes, service delivery and support to meet the needs of individuals and supervision of direct service staff. You will also participate in recruitment and selection of potential CILA employees and conduct on-the-job training, in-service meetings and house staff meetings. Each day, you will carry out a variety of rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the company and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of successful supervisory experience
  • Knowledge, understanding of and ability to work with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Ability to formulate and implement long and short range program goals
  • Ability to structure schedules and guide staff
HOURS
  • Full-time, 40 hours a week
