Founded in 1972, DSC provides educational, professional, residential and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As the Clinical Manager at DSC, you will be responsible for coordination and oversight of all counseling and support services to include contractual clinical consultants. Clinical supports include the individual’s team to facilitate referral, scheduling, documentation, obtaining financial/grant resources, and coordination of continuing or follow-up supports/services. You will also, coordinate and facilitate psychiatric support, psychological/behavior support and psychotherapy support services. Additional duties include serving as a single point of contact to clinical consultants, preparation of quarterly CCDDB reports, and crisis intervention including after-hours pager rotation.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field or equivalent combination of education, knowledge and experience. Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) or QIDP eligible.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental health, developmental disability, medical, educational, or clinically related environment.
  • Knowledge of community resources. Ability to organize and coordinate activities of an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in writing relative to all records, clinical reports, and communications.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with adequate insurance to cover transport of people receiving services.
