Founded in 1972, DSC provides educational, professional, residential and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties.         RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Residential Manager (RM) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the CILA homes, service delivery and support to meet the needs of the individuals, and for providing a safe and therapeutic environment. The RM is responsible to ensure compliance with the Home and Community Based Settings Rule to preserve the rights of each person. A flexible schedule and on call responsibility supports individuals and staff in the 24-hour CILA program.

REQUIREMENTS:
 

  •    High School Diploma or equivalent
  • · At least one year of successful supervisory experience preferred
  • · Knowledge and/or experience working with individuals with IDD.
  • · Ability to work cooperatively with staff, agency, and community personnel.
  • · Ability to independently structure schedules, both personal and program, according to priority needs.
  • · Ability to guide professional and para-professional staff to support individual and agency outcomes consistent with DSC’s Mission.
  • · Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • · Access to reliable, insured transportation and ability to drive CILA vans.

HOURS:

  • Full-time, 40 hours a week
