Founded in 1972, DSC provides educational, professional, residential and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties. If you are seeking a rewarding and fulfilling job, we are currently hiring for the position of Individual & Family Support Provider w/ Caseload for the Individual and Family Support (IFS) Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The IFSP w/ Caseload position will provide community based training and support services to individuals and their families. Primary responsibilities include the completion of assessments and implementation of direct service goals developed by the IFSP w/ Caseload in cooperation with the individuals’ Interdisciplinary Team. Each day, you will be engaged in a variety of rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the company and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
- Experience and/or education in vocational/rehabilitation training, special education, therapeutic recreation or psychology preferred.
- Ability to work independently and to organize and document accurately.
- Reliable transportation with adequate insurance to cover transport of individuals served.
- Must have sufficient physical stamina and mobility to push, pull, and lift.
HOURS:
- Full-time. Schedule based on individual/family needs. Primarily daytime and early evening hours.
