DSC is currently hiring for the position of Residential Direct Support Professional. This position is integral to providing residential support services to people in the Champaign County area. It is also a great way to gain meaningful experience and kick start a rewarding career in social services. In this role you will provide guidance and supervision, conduct individual and group training programs, general household maintenance and routines, and complete data and records according to individual program plans and Group Home procedures. You will also assist with daily living skills and facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on activities in the community.

Flexible work schedule
The DSP full time position is typically 5 days, 40 hours a week of variable evening and weekend shifts. In addition, there are overnight shifts available which are 4 days, 40 hours a week from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM. We also have part time evening and weekend shifts available that are great for students or to accommodate other day time obligations. Please select the shift you prefer when you apply.

This position starts at a base rate of $11.89 per hour ($24,731 annual) with an additional $1.50 per hour starting at 9:00 AM Saturdays to 11:00 PM Sundays. There are also ample overtime opportunities available that could increase the hourly rate to $17.84 per hour or more.
