If you are seeking a rewarding and fulfilling job, we are currently hiring for the position of Parent Wonders: Infant Family Support Specialist II.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As an Infant Family Support Specialist II, you will be engaged in challenging and rewarding work with developmentally at-risk children and families in rural Champaign County. You will also be responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of the program groups. You will establish and schedule outreach activities and local children’s events. Additionally, the Infant Family Support Specialist II is responsible for assessing family strengths and needs; partnering with families to develop individual service plans; conducting home visits that promote positive, meaningful parent-child interaction, recording child and parent progress; Each day, you will be engaged in a variety of rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the company and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred
- Experience working with families, preferably experience with teen parent and other at-risk populations.
- Knowledge of infant/toddler development and strong promotion, prevention and intervention foundation.
- Ability to work with computer database systems.
- Transportation and adequate auto insurance required.
- Bilingual preferred.
HOURS:
- 40 hours a week
