RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight of medical component for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in group home settings in Champaign County. Coordinate and/or complete medication administration/orders, documentation, assessments, etc. Provide training and support to residential staff. Provide on call support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current unrestricted Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license and one year recent clinical nursing experience required. Must have driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Must have sufficient physical stamina and mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand/walk for up to 2 hours at a time. Ability to perform CPR.
- Other desirables include experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; experience using Microsoft Office software.
HOURS:
- Typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week and participation in on-call rotation.
