If you are seeking a rewarding and fulfilling job, we are currently hiring for the position of DSP Manager of Community Living Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As the DSP Manager of the Community Living Program at DSC, you will be responsible for the administration, coordination and supervision of staff, activities and services within the Community Living Program. Additionally, you will assist the Director of Residential Services with the development, implementation and evaluation of the Community Living Program policies and procedures. Each day, you will carry out a variety of rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the company and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least one year of experience working directly with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate a wide variety of professional and paraprofessional disciplines.
  • Knowledge, skills, and ability to work with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Subject matter expert in providing support and supervision for employees, with the ability to formulate and implement long and short-range program goals.
  • Ability to structure schedules and guide staff.
  • Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation and ability to drive agency vehicles.
  • Sufficient physical stamina and mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
  • Availability to work a variety of hours and be responsive to emergency needs.
HOURS:
  • 40 hours a week
