DSC provides educational, employment, residential and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties. If you have a degree in a human services field such as Sociology, Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Recreation, or a therapy-related field, or even a designation as a COTA, COME WORK WITH US! as a Case Coordinator!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a Case Coordinator at DSC, you will be responsible for the coordination of a wide range of supports and services for people to whom we provide services. You will need skills in service linkage, advocacy, documentation, securing and maintain entitlements and coordination of Individual Implementation Strategy. Each day, you will be engaged in rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the company and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and at least one year of experience with individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental diagnosis required.
  • Knowledge of community resources and a demonstrated capacity to work in collaboration with other human service professionals.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

HOURS:

  • 40 hour/week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Grant-funded hiring/new employee bonus of $400 (payable upon completion of training), and retention bonuses up to 4 times per year through June of 2026 - up to $1600 per year!
