RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Resource Coordinator at DSC, you will be responsible for oversight of the Respite Program including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of respite providers. This position will also provide training and support related to advocacy, rights and sexual health education for individuals participating in adult services. Each day, you will carry out a variety of rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the organization and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in human services related field/QIDP eligible preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.
• Ability to structure schedules according to priority needs. Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to guide professional and para-professional staff to improved performance through personal work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
HOURS:
• 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required

• Grant-funded retention bonuses - up to 2 payments for a maximum of $1,200 per fiscal year! (depending on when in the grant year you were hired)
• $44,000-$48,000 annually
