Description

DSC provides educational, professional, residential, employment and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Employment Services is responsible for the administration, coordination and supervision of all employment services staff and all employment activities. The Employment Services Director will develop policies and plans, in conjunction with the Executive Vice President of Clinical Services, to support individual, program and agency outcomes consistent with DSC Mission.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, Education, Special Education or related field with 5 years related work experience or equivalent/comparable experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/administrative capacity.

· Adequate business, marketing knowledge.

· Ability to supervise and coordinate a wide variety of professional and paraprofessional disciplines.

· Expertise in providing support and supervision for employees, and working with professionals and other stakeholders, including parents.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills.

· Proficiency with MS office

 

HOURS:

· Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
